Box Score HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Visiting Immaculata University was defeated by Centenary College in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) men's lacrosse contest Wednesday afternoon, 14-3.

Tyler Black scored with 7:46 remaining in the first quarter to tie the score at 1-1, but Centenary ended the opening quarter with three goals for the early 4-1 lead.

The Cyclones scored twice more in the second quarter to lead, 6-1, at halftime.

By the end of the third quarter, Centenary led, 12-1, after posting six goals during the frame.

The Mighty Macs came back with two scores to begin the final quarter as
Ben Lerario and
Samuel Zingaro scored just 17 seconds apart to cut Immaculata's deficit to 12-3 with 6:53 left in the game. Immaculata would get no more scoring, and Centenary added two tallies during the final five minutes.

Black finished with one goal and one, while Lerario and Zingaro had one goal each.

Christian Custodio played all 60 minutes in goal making 11 saves in the loss.

Immaculata falls to 3-9 overall and 2-3 in the CSAC. Centenary improves to 3-9, 2-3 CSAC.

The Mighty Macs play host to the Neumann Knights Saturday at 1 p.m.
