Brendan Doyle and
Mike Reardon scored the final two goals of the contest to break a 12-12 tie and help Immaculata men's lacrosse even its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) record at 2-2 with a 14-12 victory against Rosemont at Draper Walsh Stadium Saturday afternoon.

After an even first half, Immaculata men's lacrosse used a six-goal third quarter to pull away, 12-8. However, four Rosemont goals in a three-minute span to start the fourth quarter quickly evened the game back at 12-12.

Doyle scored what would prove the game-winner as Reardon had the assist with 8:11 remaining in the game, and Reardon followed up with an unassisted goal with 5:51 left.

Doyle finished the contest with four goals and three assists, while
Doug Hughes recorded four goals and two assists. Sam Zingaro totaled two goals and one assist, and
Ben Lerario scored twice. Reardon finished with a team-best four assists to go along with his one tally, and
Tyler Black had one goal and one assist.

Don Schiffer started in goal for Immaculata and played the first 47:47 giving up 11 goals and making three saves.
Christian Custodio came in for the final 12:13 allowing one goal and stopping two Rosemont shots to earn the win.

Immaculata (3-8) scored the first goal of both the first and second quarter to take a one-goal lead each time, but Rosemont netted back-to-back goals in each quarter to gain the advance. The Mighty Macs rattled off three straight goals after the Ravens took a 4-3 edge to push their lead to 6-4 with just 48 seconds left in the opening half. Rosemont found the back of the net twice in the closing 37 seconds as the score was deadlocked at 6-6 at halftime.

Rosemont started the first five minutes of second half sandwiching goals around one score by Immaculata's Doyle for the 8-7 edge. The Mighty Macs shut the Ravens down the rest of the third quarter as they scored five consecutive goals, including three from Hughes, to put the margin at 12-8.

Immaculata travels to Centenary on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in its final road contest of the regular season.
