Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata outscored Elizabethtown, 8-3, during the second half to make an attempt at a comeback but the visiting Blue Jays were able to hang on for a 17-10 non-conference men's lacrosse win at Draper Walsh Stadium.

Tyler Black led the Mighty Macs with three goals, while
Doug Hughes tallied a team-high four points on two goals and two assists.
Mike Reardon and
Brendan Doyle each finished with two goals and one assist, and
Ben Lerario had one goal and two assists. Sam Zingaro was the other Immaculata player to add to the scoring with two assists.

After Elizabethtown extended its lead to 13 goals (15-2) with 12:15 remaining in the third quarter, the Mighty Macs scored four-straight goals before the Blue Jays could answer. The Mighty Macs then opened up the final stanza with four more tallies trimming their deficit to six goals (16-10) with 5:42 remaining in the game.

Immaculata was able to find the back of the net the rest of the way, and Elizabethtown added the game's final goal with just under one minute left.

Elizabethtown (9-2) started the game on an 8-0 run before Immaculata answered with Doyle's unassisted goal with 1:13 to play in the opening quarter.

After the Blue Jays scored to open the second quarter, the Mighty Macs responded with a tally from Black to cut the margin to 10-2. Elizabethtown would eventually take a 14-2 lead at halftime.

The Mighty Macs (1-8) started
Christian Custodio in goal and played the first quarter with three saves. Don Schiffer played the final 45 minutes recording 10 saves.
