Kelly Lapp tied a school record with eight goals and senior
Alyssa Petito tied the single game assist mark with five, as Immaculata University defeated Delaware Valley College 20-4, in women's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon. The Mighty Macs improve to 2-1 on the young season.

Allison Jakavick tied her career high with six goals and added three assists for a career-high nine points. She becomes the second player in women's lacrosse history to record nine points in a single game. Junior
Shannon Neill was the other Mighty Mac as she hit that mark, twice. Neill also registered a goal and three assists in the win. Senior
Danielle Lopez amassed two goals and two assists for four points, while Petito collected two goals to go along with her five assists. Freshman
Hannah Verrecchia tallied her first career goal to complete the scoring for Immaculata. Sophomore
Christine McIntyre posted five saves in the win.
Corinne Militana, Nicollette Angelella, Graeleigh Lackey, and Lydia Spakosky, all scored for the Aggies (1-2).
Lapp's eight goals ties her atop the record book with Kacie O'Neill (2011) and Rebecca Whiteman (2010). This is the third time Petito has tallied five assists in a single game (2014, 2013).
Katie Cook (2013), Lapp (2014) and Neill (2013) also tied the Immaculata mark with five assists. With her six goals Jakavick moved into sixth place with 99 career goals, while Lapp jumped to seventh place with 95 career goals. Jakavick now ranks seventh in school history with 127 points.
The Mighty Macs return to action on Tuesday, March 10, when they host Albright College. Game time is set for 4pm.
