Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa.- On a rainy Tuesday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium, the Immaculata women's lacrosse team was seeking their third straight victory, but they were unable to get anything going in an 18-1 loss to Albright (3-1). The Mighty fell to 2-2 on the season.
Senior
Danielle Lopez scored the lone goal for the Mighty Macs to tie the game at 1-1 three minutes into the game, but then it was all Lions the rest of the way. Junior
Shannon Neill provided the assist on the goal.
Immaculata had several scoring opportunities, especially in the second half, but the Albright keeper was there each time for the save to stall the Macs' offense.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Christine McIntyre made eight saves on the afternoon.
Junior
Kelly Lapp led the Macs with six groundballs and three caused turnovers. Senior Sam Bonvetti had four groundballs, while freshman
Rosemarie Reitman had two caused turnovers.
Immaculata will return to Draper Walsh Stadium on Saturday afternoon to host Richard Stockton at 1 p.m.
