The Mighty Macs scored the first basket of the game to grab the early advantage, and the visitors led 8-1 with 6:04 left in the first period. Larkin nailed a 3-pointer and ended the opening period sinking three free throws to hand Immaculata back a 14-11 lead after the first period.

The Falcons tied the contest at 14-all just 39 seconds into the second period, but went cold during the next five minutes. Immaculata put together a 9-0 spurt during that time to push its lead to 23-14, and the Mighty Macs would not hand it over the rest of the way.
