Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. – Immaculata women's basketball dropped its final game of the first half of the season at Lancaster Bible Thursday night, 66-43, in non-conference action.
The Mighty Macs head into the winter holiday break with a 2-7 overall record.
Reilly Larkin had a team-high 19 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Mighty Macs.
Theresa Walsh accounted for 10 points, a team-best nine rebounds and three steals.
Dia Veneziano finished with six points and two assists, and
Bailey Krewson grabbed four rebounds.
Immaculata stayed right with Lancaster Bible for the opening five minutes of the contest as the Mighty Macs trailed the Chargers by just two points (8-6) after Walsh had a layup with 4:57 remaining in the first period. However, Lancaster Bible scored 13 unanswered points to finish the period and lead, 21-6.
The Chargers continued their run to begin the second period, scoring eight consecutive points. The Mighty Macs were within 18 (33-15) with 4:16 to play in the half after Larkin hit a 3-pointer, but Lancaster Bible held a 45-17 advantage at halftime.
Lancaster Bible was able to maintain its lead during the second half despite going just 8 of 29 (.276) from the field. The Chargers shot 52.6 percent (20-38) from the field during the opening half.
Immaculata returns from the break on Jan. 2 heading to Goucher.
