Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's basketball team started out their 2015-16 campaign with a home contest against Haverford in non-conference play, and the Mighty Macs battled throughout, but a 16-6 third quarter for the Fords (1-0) proved to be the difference as they dealt the Macs (0-1) a 66-46 defeat in the first game in the career of head coach
Chrissy Esbensen.
Â
Sophomore
Theresa Walsh enjoyed a career-night in her first start with 16 points, eight rebounds, and four steals, all of which were career and team-highs. Sophomore

Â
In the second quarter, the Fords saw their lead go to as large as 10 at 26-16 with 4:43 to go, but IU scored the next two buckets, one from Walsh and one from freshman
Morgan Wentz to trim the deficit to six. Haverford would take a 31-24 lead into the locker room.
