READING, Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team travelled to Albright on Wednesday evening looking to rebound from their opening loss, and the Mighty Macs jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead, but the Lions (1-2) scored four unanswered goals and dealt Immaculata (0-2) a 4-1 defeat.
 
In the defeat, junior goalie Elizabeth McBride recorded a career-high 15 saves.
 
Immaculata wasted little time getting their first goal of the season as sophomore Erica Buckley recorded her second career assist on a feed to sophomore Carly Mirarchi who notched her fifth career goal to give the Mighty Macs a 1-0 lead in the 19^th minute.
 
Immaculata would hold that lead until Albright tallied two goals in a 2:32 span late in the first half to take the 2-1 lead which they would not relinquish.
 
The score remained the same into the second half when the Lions added a goal in the 58^th minute and put the game out of reach in the 81^st with their fourth straight goal.
 
The Mighty Macs will look to rebound on Tuesday, September 9^th with a road trip to Widener at 4 p.m.
