Katie Cook scored her 100
th career goal in the loss.
The Profs (3-1) started the scoring early and often, scoring seven straight goals until the Mighty Macs (2-2) struck with a goal from
Danielle Lopez off an assist from
Allison Jakavick with just over 20 minutes left in the first half.
Rowan then added eight straight goals to close out the half with a 15-1 lead going into the locker room.
Moments into the second half senior
Katie Cook netted a goal cutting the deficit to 15-2 in favor of the Profs. With that goal
Katie Cook became the fourth Mighty Mac to score 100 goals in a career.
Rowan then scored three straight goals to close out the game. Jamie Blondina tallied a total of six goals for the visitors and Becca Wood contributed three goals.
The Mighty Macs picked up a total of 13 ground balls on the afternoon.
Immaculata opens CSAC play on Wednesday as they host Neumann at 4 p.m.
