The Immaculata women's lacrosse team (9-6, 5-3 CSAC) clinched a home game in the CSAC quarterfinals with a 12-5 victory over Notre Dame (7-5, 4-4 CSAC) on Senior Day at Draper Walsh Stadium.  With the win, the Mighty Macs will host the first playoff game in program history as the number four seed when they play Notre Dame, who enters the CSAC tournament as the fifth seed.  Today's game was the final regular season home game for seniors Megan Chacosky and Anne Moulton, as well as junior Caitlin Caruso and Amanda Grahn.

Freshman Kelly Lapp (6 GBs) led the way for Immaculata with four goals and junior Katie Cook (5 GBs) had five points on two goals and three assists.  Her 25 assists so far this season is a new single season Immaculata record.

Moulton, who is already the career record holder in ground balls, now holds the record for most caused turnovers with 74 in her four seasons after two more today.

After falling behind 1-0 early, the Mighty Macs ripped off six straight goals to give them a lead they would not relinquish.  Lopez scored all three of her goals while Cook, Lapp, and Jakavick each tallied one.

Immaculata would close out the half with a 9-3 advantage and the Gators would not get any closer the rest of the way.

Cook, Lapp, and Jakavick scored the first three goals of the second half to put the game away and lock up home field advantage in the CSAC quarterfinals.

Immaculata will play a non-conference game against Bryn Mawr tomorrow afternoon before preparing for their rematch with Notre Dame this Saturday at 1 p.m.
