In the first half, the Mighty Macs applied pressure for the full 35 minutes as they outshot Neumann 13-4. Immaculata finally punched through in the 23
rd minute on a set corner play. O'Donnell took the first pass from the corner and fed it to the left wing to sophomore

In the second half, the Knights increased the offensive pressure in an effort to tie the game, but second half goalie freshman
Sarah Pasternak was up to the task and made six saves in the period.
The score remained 1-0 until the 65

The Mighty Macs would add to that just over two minutes later when O'Donnell converted a penalty stroke that gave IU an insurmountable 3-0 lead with just over three minutes remaining.
