Volleyball Drops 3-2 Match At Notre Dame

Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. – Immaculata University's volleyball team dropped a five-setter on the road at Notre Dame of Maryland University Thursday night, 3-2. The host Gators got the best of the Mighty Macs in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match by scores of 19-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-13 and 15-9.
 
Jamie Rombach recorded a double-double during the match with a team-leading 14 kills and 14 digs. Andrea Okoro was second on the team with six kills and two total blocks. Allison Lang made four total blocks, two solo and two assisted, to go along with three kills. Marissa Casella also had four solo blocks.
 
Brittany Thompson assisted on 17 Mighty Mac kills, while Maranda Jones registered 16 assists. Molly Truitt paced the team in both digs (24) and service aces (5).
 
The Mighty Macs slipped to 6-12 overall and 2-4 in CSAC play with the loss, while the Gators improved to 8-7, 2-4 CSAC.
 
Immaculata travels to Baptist Bible on Saturday morning for an 11 a.m. match against the Defenders.
