Women's Tennis Wins 7-2

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– Immaculata University women's tennis won its Colonial States Athletic Conference match opposite Baptist Bible College, 7-2, Saturday afternoon.
 
Immaculata's top doubles tandem of Julie Einwechter and Theresa Martini were 8-6 winners against Nathalia Nasser and Racheal Paris.
 
In singles play, Martini again defeated Paris at the third spot, 6-0, 6-0. Kara Trowbridge won at fourth singles, 6-3, 6-3, against Nasser, and Ally Minton  captured fifth singles, 2-6, 6-3, 10-7, opposite Courtney Boger.
 
Emily Degnan also won at the top singles flight against Amber Kachelries, 6-1, retired. The Mighty Macs also claimed points at sixth singles and third doubles by default.
 
Immaculata will be back on the court Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Rosemont.
