Misc.: Kara enters her fourth season as part of the Immaculata women’s tennis team … also a member of the indoor and outdoor track & field team … majoring in General Sciences.
2015: Second Team All-CSAC for singles … Second Team All-CSAC in doubles with partner Annaliese Kambouroglos … Had an 11-2 record in singles play this season and an 8-1 record in CSAC play with one suspended match against Gwynedd Mercy (10/9/15) with the sets split … Won the first 10 decisions of the season … Scored CSAC victories in straight sets against eight opponents … Suffered her only CSAC loss of the season to Marywood (10/16/15) in the regular season … Later lost a marathon three-set affair to Marywood (10/23/15) in the CSAC Semifinals … Had a great doubles season with partner Annaliese Kambouroglos in the second spot with a 10-4 record overall, 8-2 in CSAC play … Defeated Rosemont (9/1/15), Keystone (9/17/15), Cedar Crest (9/25/15), Neumann (9/26/15), Notre Dame (10/7/15), Summit (10/13/15), Marywood (10/16/15), and Cairn (10/17/15) in CSAC play … Added non-conference wins against Penn State Harrisburg (9/22/15) and Rutgers-Camden (10/10/15) ... 2014: Honorable Mention All-CSAC for singles … CSAC Player of the Week (10/13/14) … Had an outstanding junior campaign with a singles record of 11-2, best on the team, and a CSAC mark of 6-1 … Had a 9-2 record for matches in the fourth spot and a 2-0 mark in the third position … Earned both of her third spot wins in non-conference play against Penn State-Harrisburg (9/23/14) and York (10/4/14) … Picked up all six CSAC victories in the fourth spot against Rosemont (8/29/14), Baptist Bible (9/12/14), Notre Dame (9/19/14), Keystone (9/27/14), Cairn (10/10/14), and Neumann (10/18/14) … Had wins over Alvernia (9/9/14), Penn State-Berks (9/17/14), and Bryn Mawr (10/8/14) in non-conference matches … Went 8-8 in doubles play overall, with an 8-7 mark in the second spot and 0-1 in the first position … Compiled a 6-4 record with Nicole Burley, 4-2 in CSAC play … Grabbed conference wins over Rosemont (8/29/14), Baptist Bible (9/12/14), Notre Dame (9/19/14), and Keystone (9/27/14) … Went 2-3 with Emily Degnan with victories over Bryn Mawr (10/8/14) and Cairn (10/10/14) … Member of the 2014 Fall CSAC All-Academic Team.
2013: Played in 15 singles matches and 14 doubles matches in her sophomore season … Went 7-7 in the third singles position, 1-0 in the second spot, and 7-3 overall in CSAC play … Won her lone second singles match in CSAC play against Baptist Bible (9/21/13) … Won CSAC matches at the third singles against Keystone (8/31/13), Notre Dame (9/13/13), Cairn (9/14/13), Baptist Bible (9/21/13), Rosemont (9/28/13), Neumann (10/14/13), and Cedar Crest (10/26/13), which helped them clinch their first postseason berth in eight seasons … Went 8-5 with partner Theresa Martini in the second doubles spot, including a team-best 7-2 in CSAC play … Defeated Keystone (8/31/12), Notre Dame (9/13/13), Cairn (9/14/13), Baptist Bible (9/21/13), Penn State-Harrisburg (9/25/13), Rosemont (9/28/13), Neumann (10/14/13), and Cedar Crest (10/26/13) … Member of the 2013 Fall CSAC All-Academic Team.
2012: Honorable Mention All-CSAC … Had the best singles season of anyone on the team … Went 10-6 overall and 7-2 in CSAC play … Was 3-1 in the third position and 7-5 in the fourth position including four consecutive victories to close out the season … Recorded CSAC victories against Notre Dame, Rosemont, Cairn, Neumann, and Marywood in three sets … All nine of her other victories came in straight sets … Went 7-10 in doubles play … Recorded a 4-5 CSAC doubles record … Won two matches with Theresa Martini, one with Ally Minton, one with Pattie McGinley, and three with Paige Sparks … Member of the CSAC Fall All-Academic Team.
High School: Four-year member of Lenape Valley Regional High School’s tennis squad … played on the varsity team her junior and senior years … played third singles in 2010 and moved to first singles her senior season … received NJAC second team all-conference accolades for her play at third singles … also a member of the track team all four years.
