Scranton, PA - Immaculata University field hockey suffered an 8-1 loss to the University of Scranton in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

Sophomore Ashley O'Donnell recorded the only goal for the Mighty Macs at 63:14 of the second half.  Fellow sophomore Tiffany Lockfeld assisted on the goal.  Freshman Patsy Murphy collected 11 saves for Immaculata. 

Alyssa Whitman and Gretchen Kempf paced the Royals (4-3) with goals each, while Maria Begliomini registered three saves for Scranton.

Immaculata (0-7) returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 27, when it hosts Stevenson University.  Game-time is set for 4 p.m.
