MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's tennis team edged out Penn State Harrisburg, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon to win the non-conference match.
 
Immaculata (2-7) won two points during doubles play as its top two pairs each earned 8-4 wins against their counterparts from Penn State Harrisburg (0-1). 
Emily Degnan and 
Theresa Martini won at first doubles, and 
Kara Trowbridge partnered with 
Paige Sparks to take the victory at second doubles.
 
Trowbridge became a double-winner with a victory at third singles, 6-3, 6-1. The Mighty Macs sealed the win with victories at fifth singles by 
Ally Minton, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2, and 
Racha Mouawad's 6-2, 6-3 win at sixth singles.
 
The Mighty Macs host Ursinus in a non-league match on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 26, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
