BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Immaculata's women's tennis team was defeated by host Bryn Mawr, 7-2, on Tuesday afternoon in a non-league match.
 
The Mighty Macs (0-4) picked up a point in both doubles and singles action as freshman Kara Trowbridge was a double winner for the afternoon.
 
Trowbridge and doubles partner Paige Sparks, playing at second doubles, edged Bryn Mawr's (1-0) Chloe Barron and Eliza Perocchi in a tiebreaker, 9-8 (7-4).
 
Trowbridge then turned her attention to singles action and picked up the win at fourth singles opposite Rachel Genovese, 6-3, 6-1.
 
Immaculata returns to Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Friday traveling to Cedar Crest at 4 p.m.
