Men's Lacrosse Falls To Susquehanna

SELINSGROVE, Pa.
– Immaculata University men's lacrosse dropped a 19-7 non-conference game at Susquehanna on Wednesday evening.
 
Bhelly Bagbonon scored three goals to pace the Mighty Macs' offense while Joey Shallow had one goal and two assists. Ben Tuscai, Ryan Cipriani and Mike Boyd all added one goal.
 
Susquehanna opened the game scoring seven straight goals. Immaculata ended the string with 1:45 left in the first quarter as Shallow netted an unassisted goal.
 
The Mighty Macs netted three goals in the second quarter as Bagbonon scored twice and Tuscai recorded the other goal. Immaculata trailed 11-4 at halftime.
 
Bagbonon scored at the 13:38 mark of the third quarter to make the score 11-5, but Susquehanna scored eight straight goals. Boyd and Cipriani scored for Immaculata during the final three minutes to make the final margin.
 
Max Bonhage started the game in goal for the Mighty Macs and played 30 minutes making four saves. Jon Diodati also played 30 minutes with four stops.
 
Susquehanna was led by Luke Delavan's five goals and one assist, while Dustin Breakey also registered six points on three goals and three assists. The Crusaders used three goalkeeper, but Will Torrence started and played 40 minutes with 12 saves before giving way to Jared Knowlton and Gannon Meister.
 
Immaculata returns home on Saturday, March 24 to open the Colonial States Athletic Conference slate with Centenary at 3 p.m.
