Men's Lacrosse Drops Game At Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's lacrosse team suffered a 17-8 setback on Saturday afternoon in non-conference play at Lebanon Valley College.
 
Joey Shallow led the Mighty Macs (0-4) with four goals and two assists for six points. Tayler Acree added one goal and two assists while Ben Tuscai and Bhelly Bagbonon each finished with one goal and one assist. Ryan Cipriani added Immaculata's other goal.
 
Shallow scored the Mighty Macs' first goal with 5:39 left in the first quarter to end a four-goal stretch for the Dutchmen. Shallow again scored with 5:39 remaining before halftime, but it was Lebanon Valley that held a 12-2 lead at the break.
 
Lebanon Valley (3-1) led 17-4 with 10:16 left in the game, but Immaculata closed the contest scoring four straight goals for the final margin.
 
Jon Diodati started in goal for Immaculata and played almost the entire first half, making 10 saves while allowing 12 goals. Max Bonhage completed the contest recording nine saves and allowing five goals.
 
Malik Pedroso scored five goals and added one assists for Lebanon Valley, and Ian Schmid finished with three goals. Mike Moll played the first 40 minutes in goal for the Dutchmen making four saves and allowing three goals.
 
Immaculata travels to Richard Stockton on March 14 for a 7 p.m. meeting with the Ospreys.
