Immaculata Drops Rain Shortened Non-Conference Match

BOX SCORE

IMMACULATA, Pa-
Immaculata women's tennis took to the court for their final non-conference match of the season on Monday afternoon and dropped a rain-shortened contest to Albright by a score of 5-0.  The final four matches were unable to finish due to steady rainfall at the IU Tennis Courts.

The Lions of Albright came out and played strong in the opening two doubles matches winning 8-1 and 8-3, but Ally Minton and Olivia Kauffman played very well in the third doubles match before ultimately succumbing to a score of 8-6.  The Lions failed to lose a doubles match in the third slot throughout the entire fall season.

In the singles, the Mighty Macs dropped the opening two singles matches before the match was called by rain with the score officially as 5-0 in favor of Albright.  However, Immaculata was winning three of the four unfinished matches with Minton, Kara Trowbridge and Racha Mouawad all holding leads in their respective matches.

The Mighty Macs will be right back into CSAC action tomorrow when they travel to Rosemont for their final road meet of the season before returning home to wrap up their schedule with a home match against Notre Dame of Maryland.
