LA PLUME, Pa.- Immaculata University dropped both games to Keystone College on Saturday afternoon as the Giants earned the three-game sweep, 14-8 and 10-3.
Immaculata falls to an overall record of 16-12 and 9-6 while Keystone improves to 23-10 and 13-1 while sealing the top seed in the 2011 CSAC playoffs.
Alex Kobylinski (2-3) took the loss allowing 12 runs on 10 hits in four innings. Joe Caria pitched one hitless inning in relief.
The Giants took an early lead in the second inning scoring four runs on four hits. The Mighty Macs answered with one run scored when Dave News doubled to right field scoring
Eli Vottero to cut the lead, 4-1.
Keystone tallied two runs in the third before Immaculata responded with three runs of their own to cut the deficit.
Eli Vottero went 2-for-4 at the plate, scoring two runs.
Rick Gehman tallied a game-high three RBI's while
Joe Rawlings finished with two RBI's.
Keystone kept the game out of reach for the Mighty Macs adding one run in the fourth before pushing across seven runs in the fifth inning. Pat Boulware scored an unearned run in the sixth when Vottero flied out to right field.

Kevin Bertholf singled to third base scoring
Joe Rawlings in the second inning before Keystone opened the first inning scoring three runs. The Giants added two more in the second which was followed by a run from Immaculata's Dave News in the third inning.
The Giants put four more on the board in the bottom of the third and a single in the fifth to lead the Mighty Macs, 10-2.
Dave News led the Mighty Macs at the plate finishing 2-for-4, scoring one run. New's single RBI came in the seventh inning when he singled to third base scoring

Bryan McHale took the loss giving up nine runs on 11 hits in four innings. Aaron Hass and
John Pedorenko each pitched one inning in relief. Haas allowed one run while striking out a batter.
Immaculata returns home on Monday hosting Wesley College for a non-leauge game at 3 p.m.
