Women's Lacrosse Sinks Cedar Crest

ALLENTOWN, Pa.
– Immaculata University scored the first 17 goals of the contest and went on to an 18-1 win against Cedar Crest College on Saturday morning in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's lacrosse action.

Immaculata evened its CSAC mark to 3-3 and 5-8 overall. Cedar Crest fell to 2-8, 1-3 in the league.

Kacie O'Neill scored five goals while Rebecca Whiteman had four goals and two assists for the Mighty Macs. Chelsey Murta added two goals and one assist, and Lauren Bigos also had two goals. Kelly Kugler and Jessica Gaburo each recorded one goal and one assist. Alysia Remaley, Kim Steinke and Lindsey O'Connor all scored one goal, and Emily Hallett had one assist.

Immaculata's Britt Worthington picked up the win in goal and did not have to make a save. Cedar Crest keeper Kim Katsigianis made 14 while suffering the loss.

Tara Fikes scored for the Falcons at the 21:01 mark of the second half.

Immaculata will be back in action on Tuesday, April 19 hosting Centenary at 4 p.m.
