ROSEMONT, Pa. - Immaculata University's women's basketball team pushed its Colonial States Athletic Conference winning streak to six games as it rolled by host Rosemont College on Monday evening, 76-58, in league play.
Immaculata improves to 11-5 overall and 6-1 in the CSAC this season, while Rosemont slips to 5-10, 2-6 CSAC.
Chelsea McTigue paced the Mighty Macs pouring in 25 points for the contest, including a perfect 5-for-5 showing at the foul line.
Bridget Welz and
Leah Kuczynski each poured in 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Chrissy Esbensen rounded out the group of Immaculata scorers in double figures with 10 points and three steals.
Kelly Brown also chipped in seven points in the win.
The Mighty Macs staked themselves out to a 41-22 lead by halftime as Immaculata controlled the flow of the game.
Immaculata heads to Gwynedd-Mercy on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. for a key CSAC tilt with the Griffins.
