IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata University's women's lacrosse team won its home finale against Lancaster Bible in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
The Mighty Macs improve their current winning streak to three games, improving to 5-9 overall. Lancaster Bible drops to 6-9 overall with the loss.
Kacie O'Neill paced the Mighty Macs with six goals and one assist. The seven points in the game for O'Neill eclipsed the 100-point mark for the sophomore, who now has 83 goals and 21 assists for 104 career points.
Rebecca Whiteman also recorded a team-leading six goals, while
Lauren Bigos tallied one goal and one assist. Chelsea Murta registered two assists.
Alysia Remaley collected a team-best six ground balls and caused six Lancaster Bible turnovers.

Britt Worthington made 16 saves in net to pick up the win. Lancaster Bible keeper Nicole Valinteno made eight stops in the loss for the Chargers.
Following Lancaster Bible's goal just 49 seconds into the game, Immaculata rattled off four straight goals to lead 4-1 midway through the first half. The Chargers momentarily broke the Mighty Macs pace with a score at the 14:40 mark, but the Mighty Macs came back with three consecutive goals for a 7-2 lead with 9:15 left in the half.
Lancaster Bible made a run with four straight goals, making the score 7-6 with 1:53 left before the break. The Mighty Macs added two goals during the final 1:13 to give themselves a 9-6 cushion at halftime.
Immaculata scored six of the first seven tallies of the second half, increasing its margin to 14-8 with 7:20 to play in the game. The Chargers made a late run with three goals during the final 3:05 of the contest, cutting their deficit to 14-11.
Jenna Godwin registered a hat trick for the Chargers, and Kirsten Fuller, Rebeka Weidel and Whitney Heise all tallied two goals apiece.
Immaculata, which has clinched a spot in the 2010 CSAC Tournament, plays its final regular-season game on Saturday, April 24 at the College of Notre Dame. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
