IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's lacrosse team picked up its first Colonial States Athletic Conference win of the season as it defeated Neumann University, 20-14, on Tuesday afternoon in cold and wintery mix conditions at Draper Walsh Stadium.
Kacie O'Neill had a hand in slightly over half of the Mighty Macs' 20 goals during the afternoon, finishing with 11 points on seven goals and four assists. Becca Whiteman led the squad with eight goals, and
Lauren Bigos had two goals and one assist.

Alysia Remaley and Chelsea Murta all added one goal for Immaculata, while
Jennifer Steinke and Lindsey O'Conner had two and one assists, respectively.
After Neumann (2-8, 1-3 CSAC) scored 32 seconds into the game, O'Neill tied the score at 1-all at the 22:02 mark. The Knights took a 2-1 advantage when Lauren Frampton scored the first of her hat trick with 20:46 remaining in the half.
The Mighty Macs (2-7, 1-3 CSAC) came back to rattle off four straight goals, including three in the stretch by Whiteman, giving Immaculata the 5-2 edge with 14:18 left in the half. Neumann stopped the spurt with a tally at the 12:56 mark, but Immaculata went back on the offensive with three goals in less than four minutes, pushing its lead to 8-3. Immaculata went on to hold a 10-5 edge by halftime.
Immaculata and Neumann traded goals during the first 10 minutes of the second half as the Mighty Macs saw their advantage remain at five goals (13-8). Immaculata outscored Neumann 4-2 during the next 10-minute stretch to push the score to 17-10.
The Mighty Macs opened up a 20-11 lead with 6:41 left in the contest. The Knights tried to climb back into the contest with the final three scores of the game, but could not find the back of the net during the final 4:31.
Britt Worthington picked up the win in goal for Immaculata making nine saves.
Neumann was paced by Alex Bohen's six goals. Erica Crabtree registered four goals and Frampton had three tallies. Knights' keeper Kathleen Sinclair took the loss after making 11 saves.
Immaculata returns to action on April 8 when it hosts Arcadia at 4 p.m. at Draper Walsh Stadium.
