Elizabethtown Tops Immaculata Men's Lacrosse, 15-2

IMMACULATA, Pa. - Visiting Elizabethtown College topped Immaculata, 15-2, Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference men's lacrosse action. 

Brendan Dinneen and Dante Tuscai each tallied goals for the Mighty Macs, and Zach Krytzer recorded an assist.

The Blue Jays scored the first seven goals of the game before Immaculata got on the scoreboard with 10:54 left in the second quarter as Dinneen scored on a man-up opportunity off a pass from Krytzer. Elizabethtown blew the game open by halftime, taking a 10-1 lead into intermission.

Elizabethtown built a 14-1 lead at the 7:56 mark of the fourth quarter. Immaculata stopped the run as Tuscai found the back of the cage with 7:29 remaining in the final quarter.

Andrew Sim registered 21 saves in the net for Immaculata. Hunter Malick played 50 minutes in goal for Elizabethtown, recording four saves and earning in the win. Austin Hayes played 10 minutes and also added four stops.

Keith Staulters' four goals and two assists led the Blue Jays. Ryan McCafferty added three goals and two assists for Elizabethtown.

The Mighty Macs continue their home stand on Saturday taking on PSU-Abington at 1 p.m. at Draper Walsh Stadium.
