Marywood Spoils Women's Soccer Senior Day, 1-0

- Marywood scored in the 71st minute as the visiting Pacers spoiled Immaculata University's women's soccer senior day, 1-0, on a rainy and windy Saturday afternoon.

Immaculata slips to 8-6-3 overall and 5-3-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with the loss. Marywood improves to 12-2-1 overall, 8-0-1 in the CSAC.

Both teams had limited opportunities on offense during the first half, as both squads defense's played extremely well. The Mighty Macs got off four shots, while holding the Pacers to three shots in the scoreless opening half.

However, the Pacers eventually got on the board at 70:46 when Olivia Habicht dribbled in and fired a shot over the head of IU goalkeeper Jessica Gaburo.

Marywood outshot Immaculata 8-5 during the contest and the Pacers held a 51 edge in corner kicks.

Immaculata plays its final regular-season contest Thursday at the College of Notre Dame at 3 p.m.
