Immaculata Drops Conference Finale To Eastern, 16-3

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - The Immaculata University women's lacrosse team fell in its Pennsylvania Athletic Conference season finale, 16-3, to Eastern University on Tuesday afternoon.

The Mighty Macs are now 1-11 and finish the league slate 1-9, while the Eagles improve to 12-4 overall, 9-1 PAC.

Jenna Specht, Claire Lichty and Megan DiCicco each scored for Immaculata. Melanie Suarez made seven saves during the afternoon in the net.

Eastern scored nine first half goals and added four more goals during the first 12 minutes of the second half to hold a 13-0 advantage over Immaculata.

Lichty scored the first goal of the day for the Mighty Macs with 16:49 remaining in the second half to end the Eagles streak.

After Eastern score three more times, Specht and DiCicco closed the scoring column with tallies one minute apart during the final four minutes of the contest.

Grace Griffith led the Eagles with five goals and an assist. Katie Choquette scored a pair of goals and registered a game-high four assists.

The Mighty Macs conclude their season on Thursday as they travel to Bryn Mawr for a 4:30 p.m. draw.
