IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata University women's lacrosse teasm fell to Cabrini College on Saturday, 17-4, in the home finale for the Mighty Macs.
The Cavaliers improve to 10-3 and stay undefeated in the PAC with a 9-0 mark while the Mighty Macs drop to 1-10 overall, 1-8 in the conference.
Audra Dinapoli recorded a team-best two goals, while Jenna Specht and Claire Lichty each tallied one goal in the effort.
The Cavaliers built a 9-0 lead before Immaculata got on the scoreboard with 2:09 left in the first half as Specht found the back of the cage. Immaculata scored off a Dinapoli free-position shot just 1:42 later, and trailed 9-2 at the break.
Cabrini rattled off the first four goals of the second half, before Immaculata scored two of the next three goals.
Melanie Suarez recorded eight saves in the loss.
Danielle Rothermel led Cabrini with four goals. Amanda Alexandrowitz and Erin Nollen each tallied three goals for the Cavaliers. Kate Schmid stopped 21 shots in the net for the Cavaliers.
Immaculata faces Eastern University on Tuesday, April 22, at 4 p.m.
