IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's lacrosse team suffered a 16-7 defeat at the hands of Gwynedd-Mercy College on Tuesday, April, 1, at Draper Walsh Stadium.

Junior Claire Lichty and freshman Rebecca Whiteman each recorded two goals, while seniors Jenna Specht and Jenn Norris and freshman Audra Dinapoll added one goal apiece for Immaculata (0-4, 0-3 PAC).

Freshman Melanie Suarez recorded 11 saves in goal for the Mighty Macs.

Bridget Gibson paced the Griffins (4-4, 3-1 PAC) with six goals, while Colleen Dellostretto added four goals.

Immaculata concludes its three-game homestand on Thursday, April 3, against Cedar Crest at 4 p.m.
