Immaculata Falls 14-4 To Arcadia

GLENSIDE, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's lacrosse team fell to Arcadia University, 14-4, in a non-conference tilt on Thursday, March 27.

Freshman Rebecca Whiteman tallied two goals, while freshman Lauren Bigos and senior Jessica Hanna each registered one goal.

Freshman Melanie Suarez made 10 saves between the pipes for the Mighty Macs (0-2 overall, 0-1 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference).

Jamie Stevenson amassed four goals for the host Knights (3-2), while Erin Cunningham recorded a hat trick and finished the game with four points. Arcadia goalkeeper Michelle Leone was forced to make 11 saves.

Arcadia rattled off the first five goals of the contest before Hanna found the back of the net 14:01 into the game. The Knights led 9-2 at the half.

Immaculata returns home to Draper Walsh Stadium on Saturday, March 29, when the Mighty Macs welcome Misericordia for a 1 p.m. draw.
