LANGHORNE, Pa. – Immaculata's men's soccer squad won its second straight game and captured its fifth shutout victory of the season on Wednesday afternoon, as Immaculata defeated Philadelphia Biblical, 1-0.
The Mighty Macs move to 7-4-2 overall and 3-1 in the CSAC while the Crimson Eagles are now 5-8 overall and 2-3 in the league.
Mitchell Torh tallied his first goal of the season at the 37:51 mark on an assist from Alan Lorentz, and it proved to be the game winner for the Mighty Macs.
Zach Oas tallied five saves in 90 minutes of action and claimed his third shutout win. Andy Ecker made three saves for Philadelphia Biblical.
Immaculata won the advantage in shots, 16-9, and held the slight edge in corner kicks, 4-3.
Immaculata welcomes Marywood into Draper Walsh Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 18, for a 3 p.m. kick.
