Immaculata University women's lacrosse team slipped past Cedar Crest College 9-8 in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Wednesday, April 18, at Draper Walsh Stadium. It was the second consecutive win for the Mighty Macs (4-6, 3-5 PAC).
Sophomore Claire Lichty recorded three goals, while senior Jenn Hogg registered two goals. Junior Kaitie Goldsborough and sophomores Jenna Specht, Jessica Hanna, and Andrea Hogg totaled one goal apiece. Sophomore Jenn Norris added one assist.
The Falcons (0-13, 0-8 PAC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but Immaculata tied the game and held on for a 5-4 lead at the half. The Mighty Macs pushed its lead to 9-6 with a goal by A. Hogg at 9:43 of the second half. However, Cedar Crest tallied the next two goals to cut the Mighty Macs lead to 9-8 with 4:47 left. Immaculata held on for the 9-8 victory.
Junior Sarah DiSimone collected seven saves between the pipes for Immaculata.
Kirsten Gustafson paced the Falcons with four goals.
