Immaculata University men's lacrosse team dropped a tough 9-5 decision to Neumann College in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Wednesday, April 11, in Aston, PA.
Sophomore Alan Lorentz recorded three goals, while sophomore Geoff Lorentz and freshman Anthony Cucchi tallied a goal apiece. Freshman Tom Hartney posted two assists.
After the Knights grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first quarter, G. Lorentz and Cucchi scored two goals in the second quarter to tie the game at 2-2. However, Neumann totaled four unanswered goals in the third quarter to push its lead to 6-2. The Mighty Macs cut the lead in half - 6-4 - with 7:59 left in the fourth quarter, but the Knights scored the next two to put the game out of reach.
Freshman Andrew Sim collected eight saves between the pipes for the Immaculata (0-6).
