Senior Mary Kate Pawlowski recorded a game-high 26 points as Immaculata University defeated Wilson College 73-41 in non-conference action on Tuesday, February 6, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Pawlowski, who was 12-16 from the floor, was the only IU player to score in double-digits, as 11 other Mighty Macs contributed to the win. Junior Nina Cammarano totaled eight points, while sophomore Dominique Murray amassed seven points and five rebounds. Freshman Erica Massenburg posted a career-high six points, while fellow freshman Shana Kehoe established a career high with three steals. Sophomore Kasey Hicks totaled five points, six assists, four steals, and a career-high 12 rebounds, while senior Meg Legere collected six points. Legere has collected 1,163 career points and is 11th on Immaculata's all-time scoring list.
The Mighty Macs scored the game's first 15 points en route to a 45-18 halftime lead. Immaculata started the second half with a 16-5 run to post a 61-23 lead, the largest of the game, at 12:37. The Mighty Macs cruised over the final 12 minutes for the 73-41 win, their eighth victory in their last 10 games.
Canesha Gibbs paced the Phoenix with 12 points.
