Immaculata University women's basketball team fell to DeSales University 78-53 in non-conference action on Tuesday, December 18, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
Junior Kasey Hicks amassed a team-high 13 points, six assists and also pulled down four rebounds. Senior Nina Cammarano registered 10 points and four rebounds, while junior Stephanie Stripe collected five points, three assists and six rebounds in her first start of the season. Freshman Jessica Gaburo tallied five points, six rebounds, two steals and one block, while sophomore Erica Massenburg contributed nine points off the bench.
LeighAnn Burke paced the Bulldogs (8-2) with 19 points, while Caitlin Miller grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
The Mighty Macs (2-8) return to action on Friday, December 28, when they face Central (IA) College at 4 pm in the game one of the Land of Magic Tournament. The tournament is being held in Daytona Beach, Florida.
