Immaculata Falls In Season Opener

Immaculata University women's basketball dropped a 74-66 decision to Frostburg State University on the first day of the Jim Crawley/FSU Invitational on Friday, November 17, in Frostburg, Maryland.

Senior Meg Legere collected a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while sophomore Dominique Murray posted a team-high 18 points, while senior Mary Kate Pawlowski amassed 13 points, nine points and a career-high seven assists. Sophomore Jessica Dantzler-Henry collected 14 points, six rebounds, three assists, and a career-high five steals. Murray also pulled down seven rebounds.

The Mighty Macs will face Grove City Classic in the consolation game of the invitational on Saturday, November 18. Grove City fell to Goucher College 55-53 in the other semifinal. Tip-off for the consolation is set for 2 pm.
