IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata University Athletics is set to officially open the 2026-27 academic year with a busy first week of competition, featuring action across six sports from Tuesday, Sept. 1 through Saturday, Sept. 5. The Mighty Macs will open the week with a three-game slate on Tuesday, highlighted by a pair of home soccer contests at Draper Walsh Stadium.

Men's soccer will get the 2026 season underway at 4 p.m. against Haverford College, while women's soccer will host Rutgers-Newark at 7 p.m. for its season opener. Women's volleyball will also begin its season Tuesday evening, traveling to Delaware Valley University for a 7 p.m. match.

Field hockey will join the action on Wednesday, hosting FDU-Florham at 6 p.m. at Draper Walsh Stadium. Women's soccer will return to action Thursday evening, welcoming Stockton University for a 6 p.m. contest.

The busy week continues Friday as women's volleyball travels to DeSales University for the DeSales University Invitational, where the Mighty Macs will face Rutgers-Camden at 5 p.m. Men's soccer will also be on the road Friday, traveling to Elizabethtown College for a 7:45 p.m. matchup.

Saturday will feature a full slate of competition. The Mighty Macs cross country programs will make their season debuts at the Bryn Mawr Invitational, with women's cross country racing at 9:30 a.m. and men's cross country competing at 10:15 a.m. in Media, Pa.

Women's volleyball will continue to play at the DeSales University Invitational with a 10 a.m. match against host DeSales University, followed by a 2 p.m. contest against Penn College.
Field hockey will also be in action on Saturday afternoon, traveling to King's College (Pa.) for a 1 p.m. game.

With six Mighty Mac programs competing during the opening week, Immaculata Athletics is ready to kick off another exciting year of competition officially.

Tuesday Talk Returns for Season Two with 34th Episode

The Tuesday Talk: An Immaculata Athletics Podcast is back for Season Two, with Episode 34 set to drop Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Hosts Andy Alvarez, Larry Diehlman, and Connor Kakowski return for another season of conversations, previews, and stories from around Immaculata University Athletics. The podcast is the official podcast of Immaculata Athletics and features a weekly look at the latest news and happenings.

In the Season Two premiere, the hosts will discuss the recent announcement of Immaculata's move to the United East Conference beginning in 2027, preview the upcoming 2026-27 fall sports season and welcome Immaculata field hockey head coach Kate Copskey as the episode's featured guest. Copskey enters her 12th season leading the Mighty Macs in 2026.

The Season Two premiere comes as the Mighty Macs prepare to open the 2026-27 athletic year, with several Immaculata teams beginning competition during the first week of September.
