IMMACULATA, Pa. Immaculata University head men's and women's cross-country coach David Smith has announced the 2026 men's and women's cross-country schedules, featuring four regular-season meets before the postseason begins with the Atlantic East Conference Championships on October 31.

Both the Mighty Mac men's and women's teams enter the 2026 campaign looking to build on outstanding 2025 seasons after each finished as the Atlantic East Conference Runner-Up. The women's squad also returns one of the conference's premier runners in two-time Atlantic East Individual Champion Aubrey Donahue, who will look to lead the Mighty Macs once again this fall.

The season opens on Saturday, September 5, when Immaculata competes in the Bryn Mawr Invitational at Rose Tree Park in Media, Pennsylvania. One week later, the Mighty Macs will race at the Philadelphia Cross Classic on September 12 at Belmont Plateau Park.

After a brief break in the schedule, Immaculata returns to action on October 3 at the Cairn Highlander Invitational in Langhorne, then competes in the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle on October 17 at DREAM Park in Logan Township, New Jersey. The Border Battle will provide the team with one final opportunity to prepare for the championship portion of the season.

The Atlantic East Conference Championships are slated for Saturday, October 31, where both the men's and women's teams will look to build on last season's runner-up finishes and compete for conference titles.

The season concludes on Saturday, November 14, with the NCAA Division III Metro Regional Championships, where runners will compete for a chance to advance to the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.

"We're excited about the opportunities this schedule provides for both of our teams," said Smith. "Our student-athletes gained valuable experience last season, and after both programs finished as conference runner-up, we are motivated to take the next step. We have a strong group of returning runners on both squads, and these meets will prepare us well for the Atlantic East Championships and the NCAA Regionals."
