Donahue Named Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Performer of the Year

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association (Philly-SIDA) has announced its 2025 Academic All-Area Women's Cross Country Team, with Immaculata University standout Aubrey Donahue (Sewell, N.J. / Clearview Regional) earning the honor of 2025 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Performer of the Year. Donahue is one of eight student-athletes selected to this year's Academic All-Area Team.

The Academic All-Area Team is chosen annually through voting conducted by sports information offices representing 30 colleges and universities across the Philadelphia metropolitan region. To qualify, student-athletes must be in at least their second year of study and hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher.

A junior nursing major, Donahue, has distinguished herself as one of the region's premier runners while maintaining exceptional academic performance. She captured her second Atlantic East Conference Individual Championship this fall, securing her second AEC Runner of the Year award, and earned All-Atlantic East First Team honors for the third consecutive season. At the Metro Regionals, Donahue placed 17th overall and set an Immaculata program record with a time of 22:35.9, earning All-Region recognition. This marks her second straight year receiving Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area honors.

This year's Academic All-Area Women's Cross Country Team includes representatives from all three NCAA divisions, featuring four Division III, two Division II, and two Division I student-athletes.
