BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Immaculata men's and women's track and field teams opened competition at the Moravian University Coach Pollard Invitational on Friday evening, competing in the 10,000-meter run and delivering a strong early-season performance highlighted by a program record and a podium finish on the women's side.
Aubrey Donahue led the way for the Mighty Macs in the women's 10,000 meters, placing third overall while setting a new Immaculata program record with a time of 39:05.01. Donahue's standout effort paced Immaculata's contingent, as
Breanne Dymek also turned in an impressive performance, finishing 13th overall with a personal-best time of 44:49.90.
On the men's side,
Connor Kakowski represented Immaculata in the 10,000 meters, clocking a time of 40:02.70 to place 23rd overall in his debut at the distance.
