Men's Volleyball Hosts Neumann on Tuesday for UEC Matchup

WHAT TO KNOW
  • The Immaculata men's volleyball team (4-4, 3-0 UEC) returns home to Alumnae Hall on Tuesday, where they will host Neumann for a United East Conference game.
  • Immaculata enters Tuesday's match after defeating Pratt on Saturday, 3-1 on the road in a UEC match.
  • Neumann (3-10, 1-3 UEC) enters Tuesday's match after falling to Gallaudet 3-0 at home on Friday.

  • Middle attacker Nate Bailey has been one of the team's most efficient hitters, recording 35 kills on a .238 hitting percentage.
  • Setter Luke Dortenzo directs the Immaculata offense with 205 assists, averaging 7.59 assists per set. In addition to distributing the ball, Dortenzo leads the team in service pressure with 17 aces, averaging 0.63 aces per set.
  • Libero J.P. Farrelly anchors the back row with a team-high 64 digs (2.29 per set). His consistent passing and defensive coverage have helped stabilize the Mighty Macs' serve-receive.

SCOUTING NEUMANN
  • Outside hitter Trey Edmonds leads the Knights' offense and ranks among the most productive players in the conference with 161 Kills (3.74 per set), 92 digs, and 15 service aces.
  • Opposite hitter Isaiah Thomas provides additional offense with 73 kills (2.15 per set
  • Middle blocker John Soeffing contributed 58 kills with a .207 hitting percentage.
  • Setter Noah Banaag runs the Neumann offense and leads the team with 244 assists, averaging 6.78 assists per set. Banaag also contributes defensively with 65 digs.
UNITED EAST CONFERENCE HONORS
  • Luke Dortenzo was named United East Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
  • Dortenzo had a combined 73 assists, with three kills, seven service aces, two blocks, and four digs in helping Immaculata to a pair of United East Conference wins. He had 28 assists in Immaculata's conference win over Saint Elizabeth's on Monday and followed up with an Immaculata program record for assists in a four-set match with 45 assists, along with five service aces in their conference win at Pratt on Saturday. This is Dortenzo's first-ever United East weekly accolade.
