Men's Volleyball Visits Pratt on Saturday for a UEC Road Match

WHAT TO KNOW
  • The Immaculata men's volleyball team (3-4, 2-0 UEC) travels to Brooklyn on Saturday to play Pratt Institute in a United East Conference match.
  • Immaculata enters Saturday's match after defeating Saint Elizabeth 3-0 in a UEC match on Monday evening at Alumnae Hall.
  • Pratt (5-11, 2-3 UEC) enters Saturday's match after falling at Neumann 3-2 in a UEC match on Wednesday.
 
SERIES HISTORY
  • This will be the first matchup between Immaculata and Pratt in men's volleyball.
 
MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Noah Zunski provides a balanced presence on the outside with strong scoring and defensive production. He recorded 191 kills, 23 aces, and 105 digs in 2025. This season he continues to contribute across the stat sheet, ranking among the team leaders in kills, digs, and service aces.
  • Luke Dortenzo stepped into the starting setter role this season. He leads the team with 160 assists, averaging 6.96 digs per set. He has a team-high 12 service aces, 14 kills, and 27 digs on the defensive side.     
  • Christian Lee is one of the team's veteran leaders. The junior opposite recorded 55 kills and 27 blocks in the previous season, and the coaching staff considers him one of the program's emotional leaders.
  • Nate Bailey gives the Mighty Macs size in the middle at 6-foot-4. He contributed 97 kills and 11 blocks last season and continues to play a vital role as a middle attacker and blocker.
  • Libero J.P. Farrelly leads the back row defense, bringing experience and energy to the serve-receive unit and anchors the team's digging efforts. He has a team high of 56 digs and a .956 receiving percentage.
  • Josh McGurl is the primary offensive weapon for the Mighty Macs. The junior outside hitter led the team in kills last season with 216 kills and 38 service aces, establishing himself as the program's top scorer. He continues to lead the offense, averaging 3.00 kills per set
 
SCOUTING PRATT
  • Outside Hitter Max Wang is the primary offensive weapon for Pratt. He leads the team with 147 kills (2.88 kills/set) and has taken a team-high 429 attack attempts.
  • Outside Griffin Benkovszky provides another consistent scoring option. He averages 1.80 kills per set and contributes heavily to serve receive and defense.
  • Setter Nathan Kim runs the Pratt offense and leads the team with 300 assists (7.14 per set). He is also active from the service line and back row: with 21 service aces and 73 digs.
  • Libero Raymond Wang leads the serve-receive unit and has strong back-row production. He has 89 digs and has only 13 reception errors.

  • The Immaculata men's volleyball team will return home to Alumnae Hall on Tuesday, March 17, when they host Neumann at 7 p.m. for a United East Conference match.
