STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The Immaculata University women's track and field team wrapped up its 2025–26 indoor season Friday at the Fasttrack Last Chance Invitational, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, delivering multiple podium finishes and program-record performances.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Track Events
- Leone continued her strong showing in the 1,000-meter run, earning a second-place finish in 3:25.83.
- In the one-mile run, Molly Wasleylenko finished 19th in 6:51.22.
- The 400-meter dash featured Gross (11th, 1:06.41), Aubrey Bickford (13th, 1:10.85), and Roe (16th, 1:14.84).
- In the 200-meter dash, Bickford led the Mighty Macs with a 21st-place finish in 28.78. Brianna Caulwell (23rd, 29.03), Humphries (27th, 30.29), Rivera (28th, 31.45), and Friend (31st, 35.99) followed.
- The 3,000-meter run was highlighted by Aubrey Donahue's seventh-place finish in 10:43.12, breaking the IU program record. Breanne Dymek placed 19th at 12:31.40.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Bickford, Leone, Humphries, and Gross closed out the meet in style, capturing first place in 4:28.89 while setting another IU program record.
Field Events
- In the long jump, Samantha Rivera placed 14th with a leap of 3.83 meters (12'3.25").
- In the weight throw, Maggie Friend recorded marks of 9.69 meters (31'9") and 9.34 meters (30'8"), setting the IU program record twice in the event and finishing eighth overall. Lauer placed ninth at 8.39 meters (27'6").
- Jillian Humphries soared to a first-place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.42 meters (4'8").
- Aubrey Bickford added another victory in the pole vault, winning the event with a clearance of 2.90 meters (9'6.25").

The Immaculata women's track and field team has now completed its indoor campaign and will return to action on March 20 and 21 at the West Chester University Purple and Gold Open.
