Women’s Basketball Set for AEC Road Test at Centenary on Saturday

WHAT TO KNOW

The Immaculata University women's basketball team (11-2, 3-0 AEC) returns to the road on Saturday afternoon for an Atlantic East Conference matchup at Centenary. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Mighty Macs enters Saturday's contest riding the momentum of a 71-56 road victory over Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday night.
Centenary (8-6, 1-2 AEC) earned its first conference win of the season the same evening, defeating Pratt 71-61 at home.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday's game marks the 24th meeting between Immaculata and Centenary in a series that dates to 2007.
The Mighty Macs hold a 16-7 advantage in the all-time series.

LAST MEETING

Immaculata claimed a 78-62 victory at Centenary in their last meeting on February 15, 2025.

Centenary snapped an AEC skid on Wednesday with a 71-61 home win over Pratt after opening conference play with losses to Marywood and Marymount.
Junior forward Vatijah Davis leads the Cyclones with 20.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per game and has been named AEC Player of the Week twice this season.
Senior guard Kayla Sampong averages 7.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, with 33 assists and 27 steals.
Freshman guard Makayla Williams averages six points and 3.4 rebounds per game and scored a career-high 13 points against Pratt.
Centenary averages 65.0 points per game while allowing 63.9. The Cyclones shoot 38.5% from the field, 21.5% from three-point range, and 68.4% from the free throw line.

Immaculata averages 71.6 points per game and allows just 59.4.
