HADDONFIELD, N.J.- Mackenzie Schrack of the field hockey team was named Atlantic East Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
 
Schrack totaled 15 saves over two games, against powerhouse opponents, for the Mighty Macs. The freshman recorded a season-high nine saves in Wednesday's game against Widener, shutting them out in the second half. On Saturday, against Lebanon Valley, Schrack added six saves, helping keep the game scoreless until the 58th minute. The Red Lion, Pa., native posted a .833 save percentage on the week.
