Women's Flag Football Wins One Award and Four Player Earn All-Conference Honors

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Atlantic East Conference announced their Women's Flag Football Awards and All-Conference Team on Tuesday afternoon. Immaculata won one award, and had four players earn All-Conference Honors.
 
Abigail Lentowski (Covington Township, Pa. / Holy Cross) was named Atlantic East Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference Team for both Offense and Defensive. On defense Lentowski had 61 tackles, one sack, five interceptions including one she returned for a touchdown against Neumann on April 4th, and four pass breakups. On offense, Lentowski had 37 receptions for 450 yards, and three touchdowns. She had six receptions for 98 yards, and a touchdown in Immaculata's win over Holy Family on April 17th that clinched a playoff spot for the Mighty Macs.
 
Theresa Jappah (Coatesville, Pa. / Cardinal O'Hara) was named to the All-Atlantic Conference Team for Defense. Jappah, a defensive back, had 42 tackles, with one interception, and one pass break up. She had her best game against Neumann on April 4th, when she had nine tackles and recovered a fumble. She had her interception at Marymount on March 14th.
 
Rory Watson (Allentown, Pa. / Salisbury) was named to the All-Atlantic Conference Team for Defense. Watson, a linebacker, led Immaculata with 72 tackles, had two sacks, two interceptions, and had 10 pass breakups. Watson had nine tackles, and an interception in Immaculata's win over PSU Schuylkill on April 2nd. Watson had six tackles in Immaculata's win over Holy Family on April 17th that helped the Mighty Macs clinch a playoff spot.
 
Sydney Butcher (Coatesville, Pa. / Coatesville) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference Team as a Quarterback. Butcher was 101-162 (62.35%) for 1127 yards, and 13 touchdowns. She had a passer rating of 137.39. She also had 87 rushing attempts for 428 yards averaging 4.9 per carry with five rushing touchdowns. Butcher had her best game against Holy Family on April 17th when she 11-18 passing for 184 yards and two touchdowns. She also had 12 rushes for 80 yards, and three rushing touchdowns.
