Women's Flag Football Hosts PSU Schuylkill and Kean for Tri-Match Tonight

THE STORYLINE 

  • The Immaculata women's Flag Football Team (2-5, 2-5 AEC) are back in action on Wednesday night when they host Penn State Schuylkill in an AEC matchup, and Kean University in a non-conference game in tonight's tri-match. 

  • Immaculata enters Wednesday's games after defeating Neumann 19-7 last Wednesday. 

  • PSU Schuylkill (1-7, 1-6 AEC) lost to Centenary 13-6, and lost to Holy Family 15-13 in their tri-match last Saturday. 

  • Kean (2-0) defeated Lancaster Bible and Penn State Harrisburg in tri-match on March 22nd at PSU Harrisburg.  

SERIES HISTORY 

  • Immaculata and PSU Schuylkill met in their first game of the season on March 7th. 

  • PSU Schuylkill won that previous match 19-6. 

  • Immaculata and Kean are meeting for the first time.

  • Quarterback Sydney Butcher is 38-64 passing for 446 yards, and five touchdowns. She also has 37 rushes for 220 yards and has one touchdown.

UP NEXT 

  • The Immaculata women's flag football team will be back in action on Friday, April 4th when they host their final home AEC tri-match of the season with Neumann and Holy Family. Immaculata will play Neumann at 6:00 p.m. and Holy Family at 8:00 p.m.
