THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's flag football team (1-3 AEC) are back in action on Saturday when the travel to Arlington, Viginia for an Atlantic East Conference Tri-Match with Centenary and Marymount.
  • Immaculata enters Saturday after securing their first AEC regular season victory on March 14th defeating Eastern University 20-7 at Draper Walsh Stadium.
  • Centenary (3-1 AEC) enters Saturday after earning a split on Monday at Holy Family, defeating Holy Family in their first game, before falling to Neumann in their second game.
  • Marymount (2-0 AEC) enters Saturday after defeating Immaculata and Eastern in the tri-match on March 14tth with Immaculata and Eastern.
MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Sydney Butcher was 8-14 passing for 88 yards and one touchdown in the win over Eastern. Butcher also had 0 rushes for 33 yards.
  • Natalie Dodd was as 3-7 passing for 11 yards, and she had three rushes for 39 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown run in the win over Eastern.
  • Eliana Szatkowski had one reception for and 18-yard touchdown on offense. On defense Szatkowski had had three tackles and a pick six interception that she took back 45 yards to give Immaculata a lead they would not surrender in the win over Eastern.
  • Abigail Lentowski had had two receptions for 24 yards on offense and had three tackles on defense vs Eastern.
  • Caia Harris had one reception for 29 yards vs Eastern, and two tackles on defense.
  • Rory Watson had a team-high seven tackles vs Eastern.
  • Samantha Seidito had three tackles and had four punts totaling 126 yards. She averaged 31.5 yards per punt, and had a long of 42 yards, placing three punts inside the 20-yard line vs Eastern.
SCOUTING CENTENARY
  • Jenna Magrino had eight rushes for 143 yards with two touchdowns, and a long run of 57 yards in Centenary's victory over Immaculata on March 7th.
  • McKenzie Almestica had 12 rushes for 77 yards and a touchdown vs Immaculata on March 7th.
  • Cameron Fulcher had seven tackles in the March 7th game vs Immaculata.
  • Brianna Worthy had four tackles and an interception vs Immaculata on March 7th.
  • McKenzie Almestica had three tackles and an interception vs Immaculata on March 7th.
SCOUTING MARYMOUNT
  • Cara Vollmer was 8-8 passing for 148 yards with two touchdowns vs Immaculata on March 14th.
  • Kaylah Barr had three rushes for 99 yards, with two touchdowns, and had a pick six interception on defense. vs Immaculata on March 14th.
  • Jaylah Thomspon had two receptions for 53 yards, and a touchdown, and had a tackle and an interception on defense vs Immaculata on March 14th.

WEEKLY HONORS
  • Eliana Szatkowski was named the Atlantic East Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Szatkowski had a combined five tackles in Immaculata's two games this week, and had an Interception that she returned 15 yards for a touchdown that would give Immaculata a 14-7 lead on their way to a 20-7 win over Eastern. Szatkowski play both offense and defense for Immaculata had a combined 3 receptions for 53 yards in Immaculata's two games including an 18-yard touchdown reception in the win over Eastern.
  • Sydney Butcher was named to the Atlantic East Conference Weely Honor Roll. Butcher was a combined 9-15 passing for 104 yards, with one Touchdown pass. She also had 11 rushes for 39 yards. Butcher was 8-14 for 88 yards and threw an 18-yard Touchdown pass and had 10 rushes for 33 yards in Immaculata's 20-7 win over Eastern on Friday evening.
